Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school based in Congleton who are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their SEN department from September. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in SEN who is looking to gain experience within a mainstream secondary school.
About the role:
* Start-date: 3rd September
* Full-time, long-term
* Opportunity to earn £90- £100 per day (dependent on experience)
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, help implement and review individual education plans (IEPs), and contribute to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. You will also assist in managing behaviour, promoting emotional and social development, and liaising with parents and external professionals to ensure each child receives tailored support. Your role will be vital in helping pupils engage in learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress.

* Experience working with young people and SEN (any environment)
* Good knowledge in SEN and current practices
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students
* Safeguarding training to be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel
* A genuine passion for working with young people
