About the role Working as part of the Digital Skills team, within the wider Information Technology function. You will support the Firm's strategic objectives through the delivery of a range of digital training solutions, content creation and learning design for the firm’s full range of IT Applications, tools, software and hardware. Additionally supporting the design and delivery of the new joiner orientation and cyclic learning programs. You will manage the creation of bespoke learning and training projects, helping both legal and non-legal teams improve their digital competency, knowledge and skill base. Key responsibilities Work collaboratively within the Digital Skills team to deliver the Digital Skills Learning Strategy. Design, develop and maintain learning courses, learning materials, videos and online content primarily using remote learning tools such as Camtasia, Articulate and SharePoint. Design, deliver and maintain learning courses, learning materials, videos and online content on specific legal industry applications such as Aderant and iManage. Design, deliver and maintain learning courses, learning materials, videos and online content to support strategic firm wide project roll outs and delivery. Design, deliver and maintain learning courses, learning materials, videos and online content on in-house developed applications. Design, deliver and maintain learning courses, learning materials, videos and online content on AI tools and technologies within the Firm such as Microsoft Co-Pilot, Legora and Definely. Design, deliver and maintain learning courses, learning materials, videos and online content on commonly used enterprise programs such as the Microsoft Office suite Support, mentor and coach learners using various learning technologies, providing feedback in a supportive and constructive manner. Maintain records of learner development and resource allocation where appropriate. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of delivered learning programmes and materials based on Kirkpatrick’s 4 level evaluation model. Travel to and deliver learning solutions at all UK offices, as and when required. General: Ensure you comply with the organisational requirements, processes, procedures and policies. Share knowledge and expertise with others, coaching and supporting team members and colleagues as required. Perform other duties as assigned by your line manager. Providing specialist support to staff and teams within the firm, and to external clients when required. Assist with systems integrations and testing. Maintaining knowledge items to ensure that they are current, relevant and valid. Ensure that all activities are performed at a consistently high standard with minimal risk to the firm, and that opportunities to improve services and processes are identified and actioned. Be security conscious, ensure familiarity and co-operation with all Freeths security policies and procedures. Your skills and qualifications Experience within at least on of the following industries Legal, HR or Finance. Learning, training and development. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Ability to produce clear, accurate and compelling written and video learning material. Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders. Customer focused and goal orientated with keen attention to detail. Strong planning and organisation skills. Ability to engage with and seek input from others to ensure delivery to agreed timescales. Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion. Ability to effectively engage with third party suppliers, with experience of allocating work to suppliers and working with suppliers to resolve issues. Ability to work as part of an effective and highly skilled team. Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge. Ability to understand and determine when issues should be escalated to a higher level. Skilled in IT problem diagnosis and resolution. Closing date for applications is Monday 13 April. Smart. Bold.
