Regional Director : North of England
Flexible base location with a balance of home and office working
GBP 90,559 : plus car allowance of GBP 9,800

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Director in the North of England to
provide strategic direction and operational leadership to support the on:going development and effective delivery of the Group's housing services across the region.
Reporting to the National Director for Housing and Customer Services, you will
ensure that our customers receive high quality, safe and value for money services that consistently meet their needs.
Using your quality:driven ethos you will be responsible for the management of housing related services and working collaboratively with peer Directors in ensuring success and tenancy sustainment for our customers. You will ensure your homes have appropriate compliance to legislation of general needs and shared ownership housing, you will also work closely with the Director of Independent Living in maximising tenancy sustainment.

Leading our North Region through
effective leadership of all housing functions by promoting an effective inclusive organisational culture

Embedding
value for money customer focused services and performance focused environment in which colleagues can thrive

Providing strategic advice, tactical support and co:ordination with Senior Directors in relation to the Group's Business and Strategic Plans for the region
:
Leading and delivering on our North Regional housing strategy

Supporting the development and management of budgets, including service charges and maintaining effective financial control to ensure compliance with all financial policies
:
Representing the Group within local communities while acting as the main point of contact for local authorities, political leaders and communities in relation to potential investment, regeneration and growth opportunities
:
Ensuring the delivery of high quality and value for money housing services throughout the region to meet the needs of customers and the wider community
:
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through legislative formats, including tenant satisfaction measures
Skills and experiences:

Substantial experience of people management and development
:
Proven experience of implementing regional strategies for a similar type of organisation
:
Certificated Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing or similar coupled with a relevant degree is pivotal for success in this role

Brilliant written and verbal communication skills, including excellent stakeholder management

A knowledge and understanding of the political landscape of regions
:
Previous experience of working within a regulated industry
:
Significant experience in budget preparation and control
:
Comprehensive experience of managing projects with strong project management skills
:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
:
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
