Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join a busy construction project in Kensington. This role will be heavily focused on managing the loading bay operations, ensuring smooth coordination of deliveries, site access, and logistics across the project.
You will play a key role in maintaining site efficiency, safety, and organisation within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage loading bay operations and all site deliveries
* Coordinate delivery schedules and manage booking systems
* Ensure efficient movement of materials across site
* Manage traffic marshals, gatemen, and logistics operatives
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site management teams
* Maintain clear access routes and site logistics plans
* Monitor and enforce health & safety regulations at all times
* Resolve any delivery or access issues quickly and efficiently
* Keep accurate records of deliveries, plant, and materials
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on construction projects
* Strong experience managing loading bay operations (essential)
* Background working on busy, central London sites
* Excellent organisational and coordination skills
* Strong communication and leadership ability
* Good understanding of site health & safety regulations
Desirable
* Experience on residential or mixed-use developments
* SMSTS / SSSTS
* Traffic Marshal / Banksman certification
