On behalf of a well-established accountancy firm, we are recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Manager to join a friendly, supportive and ambitious team.

As Audit & Accounts Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Manage audit and accounting assignments, liaising directly with Senior Managers and Partners to ensure the smooth running of assignments, and keeping all stakeholders informed of progress on engagements
* Liaise directly with clients throughout engagements to ensure outstanding client service is provided, ensuring that positive and harmonious professional relations are maintained while managing the effective completion of work assignments
* Complete complex aspects of work, including preparing the final output for engagements
* Support trainees and newly qualified team members with their learning and development, co-ordinating work assignments, providing advice and performance feedback in a constructive manner, and helping them to become effective and productive members of the team
* Be proactively commercial in your approach, highlighting to Partners any opportunities to promote our full range of additional services to both current, and potentially new clients.
We welcome applications for this Audit & Accounts Manager role from candidate with the following attributes, skills and experience:
* Fully ACA/ACCA qualified with significant PQE in a similar role within a UK accountancy practice environment
* Be competent in all aspects of audit and accounts work, including accounting standards, corporate taxation, mainstream personal taxation and mainstream VAT
* Have experience of staff management
* Have excellent general IT skill – a working knowledge of CCH is desirable
* Excellent communication skills
