We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, based at our Saltney site for 20 hours per week. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and take pride in their work.
Rate of Pay: £11.44ph
Responsibilities:
* Organise and ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard whilst causing minimal disruption to tenants of St Andrews Business Centre, employees and visitors to P&A premises.
* Responsible for securing all areas of work at the beginning and end of your shift according to accepted procedure and maintaining confidentiality of information.
* Ensure you organise your work areas and have the correct tools and sufficient supply of cleaning products available in order to carry out your duties efficiently in the time available.
* Request replacements from the Housekeeping Supervisor in a timely fashion.
Execute general cleaning duties in your area of work according to set standards, to include but not exclusively:
* Regularly cleaning all toilet and washroom areas and replenish toiletries and paper goods.
* Remove dirty marks on wall tiling and mirrors.
* Cleaning internal glass, internal and external door glass ensuring you are working within safe limits.
* Empty and clean waste bins and remove waste to designated areas.
* Work cooperatively with team members to promote a positive working environment, effective teamwork and an attitude of continuous improvement.
* Ensure that you work safely and within Health and Safety guidelines, particularly when working at height and using detergent.
* Report any defects or potential hazards immediately to the Manager of the department in which the hazard is located and record appropriately.
* Be prepared to work in other areas of the business from time to time to cover absence and meet the demands of the business.
What you’ll need:
* Previous experience in cleaning is preferred but not required.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure excellent levels of cleanliness are maintained.
* Valid driver’s license is a plus.
