Deputy Nursery Manager (Level 3+) – Term Time Only
This nursery provides a safe and stimulating environment where children explore, learn, and play both indoors and in a well-designed outdoor area. As the Deputy Nursery Manager you will support staff, maintain high-quality practice, and staying actively involved with children.
Before You Apply
* This role is not suitable for candidates without recent nursery or early years experience.
* A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) is required.
* Applicants must be confident supporting staff, delivering EYFS practice, and managing routines independently.

* Pay: Up to £16 per hour
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–3:45pm
* Contract: Permanent, term time only
* Ofsted: Rated Good

What You’ll Need
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
* Recent experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted expectations
* Ability to supervise, support, and develop staff confidently
* Clear communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
* Prior leadership, deputy, or management experience
What You’ll Do
* Assist the Nursery Manager in running daily operations
* Support staff development and performance, coaching as needed
* Ensure consistent delivery of EYFS practice across all rooms
* Remain hands-on with children, modelling high-quality care and learning
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised environment
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures
