Supply Desk are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Special Primary Education School in Southampton.
Starting April 2025 on a long-term contract.
Pay: £80 - £100 per day
Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

This school strives to remove traditional barriers to learning, ensuring that children have access to a holistic and balanced curriculum. As an experienced HLTA, you would have the opportunity to cover whole classes for PPA and provide the consistency that the children in this school greatly need.
Job Description:
1. Working with children from the ages of 4-11 with additional needs
2. Supporting whole classes during PPA time and sickness
3. A resilient, calm and consistent personality
4. Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
5. Pay: Daily Rate (£80-100)
6. Location: Southampton
7. Start Date: April 2025 (flexible for the right candidate)
8. Contract Length: Long Term - Potential to become permanent
9. Hours: Full time
Individual Profile:
1. Good subject knowledge required
2. HLTA certification
3. Must have good classroom and behaviour management
4. Experience of working with a range of neurodiverse needs
5. Intervention experience preferred
