Job Title:? Occupational Therapist?
Location: Riseley Green School Berkshire RG7 1QF includingcross site work to support a new OFG school which is due to open within the Hampshire/ Surrey area in September 2026. Details tbc.
Salary: Up to £53,200FTE DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 8:30am - 4:30pm Mon - Fri
Contract: Permanent(Term timeonly,orflexibility aroundfull-timecontractcan be discussed based on your personalcircumstances)

The role:
We are looking for an OccupationalTherapist to join our in-houseclinicalteam at Riseley Green school.Working collaboratively with theeducation team, you will deliver and support the embedding ofOccupational Therapy interventionforpupilswho may have experienceddevelopmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMHneeds.?You will work to our pyramid model of delivery focusing on embedding clinical practice at a whole school level and be guided by the standardsprovidedin theOFGOccupationalTherapy Ways of Working. Thiswill guide your practice within an education settingand clarify your roles and responsibilities,whiletaking into accountthe requirements of yourgoverning andprofessional bodies.You will be supporting the delivery and implementation of stipulated Occupational Therapy provision on students Educational, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) with the full support ofyour designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician, also contributing to staff training and providing consultationasrequired.?This postwould suit a resilient,creative, flexible and enthusiastic individual.

Location: Role will initially be to supportRiseley Green School Berkshire, Riseley Greenforms part of ourOptions Autism brand and is an independent specialist day school, supportingchildren and young people aged 4 16. The successful candidate will also support the setting up of new Options Autism OFG schools planned for September 2026. Some flexible and cross site working will be required.

Essential Criteria:
RecognisedOccupationalTherapy degree?
Valid and up to date HCPC Registration?
Registered member of RCOT?
Relevant experienceinproviding occupational therapy services within a similarsetting ispreferrable
Previously engaged with peoplewhoare neurodivergent and/or experiencelearning difficultyand/or socio-emotional and mental health difficultiesin any setting, being able toevidencetransferrable skills
Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical applicationto support independence
Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred
Ability to work independently,flexibleandconfident
Clear and concise report writing skills
Interest insensory integration or sensory-informed practice(SI practitionertraining in progress or completed is preferrable, however not essential)
