Hull Culture and Leisure is seeking to recruit a motivated and proactive Library & Information Manager Support who will work directly with the Area Library Manager to ensure the effective operation and management of 11 library sites.
The successful candidate will ensure that the required resources are in place to provide a high quality service and will encourage and support business and skills development. This post requires the management and coaching of staff and provides support to customers and partner organisations.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of working in an operational environment which includes dealing with the public on a face to face basis.
Skills required include:-
* A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
* Proven organisational skills
* The ability to take the lead and work on your own initiative
* The ability to manage and mentor staff
* The ability to make recommendations to improve service delivery
