We are looking for an experienced supervisor to join our team in The London Carriage Works.
Situated in the thriving Georgian quarter of Liverpool, we are a privately owned, award winning hotel (Best Hotel - Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2015, Best Large Hotel - Silver Award - Visit England Awards for Excellence 2014) Best city hotel- Times 2020. With 151 bedrooms and suites and first class private dining, conference and events spaces, a spa, executive lounge, and private cinema, we are also expanding to include a club-room and suites and bedrooms.
The hotel has 2 restaurants - The London Carriage works a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, and 1931 a relaxed casual dining restaurant.
You as a Restaurant Supervisor
Reporting to the restaurant manager, you will be responsible for the running shifts in one of the hotels restaurants, ensuring at all times that the service and product offered to our guests is of the highest standard whilst maintaining and driving the profitability of the business at all times, with you presence needed on the key nights over the weekend.
You will have impeccable levels of presentation, and will be required to maintain a managerial presence on each service, providing an example to all staff and checking regularly on customer's experience.
You will also be required to deputise in the absence of other managers in the food and beverage department, so event supervisory experience is welcomed.
Your Skills and Experience as a Restaurant Supervisor
* Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant or hotel of a similar calibre is essential
* Genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
* Strong wine knowledge and confidence in food and wine pairing
Understanding of Rosette-level standards and commitment to quality
* A proactive, hands-on leader with great communication skills and attention to detail
Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
