Responsibilities This role will be working within the Packing and Logistics team to ensure manufacturing parts are packed and shipped in and out, in accordance with quarterly revenue targets. In this role, you as the successful Logistics Technician will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive) Unload and load vehicles Weigh count and pack “finished goods” with zero nonconformity Erecting and filling pallets for shipment to final customers Receiving packed “finished goods” into Inventory Relocate finished goods in ERP system Process customers shipments (Picking, Invoicing, Labelling, Transport bookings) Maintain required record keeping in line with business operating processes Assisting with general despatch requirements as and when required to support the function Provide holiday cover for colleagues within the logistics team Qualifications We are looking for a Logistics Technician who is in possession of the following skills/attributes: Minimum 2 years of experience in goods inwards. 5 GCSE at Grade 4 (C) or above, or equivalent qualification gained in education environment Forklift Truck License Must have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Strong communication skills are essential for the post holder to liaise with departments across the business. Computer literate, with Excel experience QAD system experience would be desirable but not essential Strong demonstratable attention to detail
