We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves operating forklifts to load and unload goods, ensuring the efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from lorries.
* Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
* Perform regular inspections and basic repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
* Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols during all operations.
* Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods.

* Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs when necessary.
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques and best practices.
* Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and record keeping.
* A valid forklift operating licence is essential.
