An Assistant Project Manager to support in delivering quality outcomes in the Construction Industry. We are looking for a driven and adaptable Assistant Project Manager ready to make an impact in construction to join our Works Department out of our Coventry Branch. What we need
* Construction related qualification i.e. BSc in Construction Management, HNC/HND (preferred, but not essential)
* Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS or SSSTS) – desired but not required
* Proven experience as an assistant project manager or project management in the construction industry
* Good knowledge of construction processes
* Experience with commercial and design-and-build projects is beneficial
* Exceptional leadership, management and organisational skills
* Confident with a range of IT systems and software, specifically Microsoft Office and project management tools
* Ability to read and understand drawings
* Self-motivated, proactive and a positive attitude
* Excellent team player with the ability to integrate and inspire others
* Full UK driving licence (minimum 6 months’ experience post-test)
* Willingness to undertake training and personal development
* Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuous improvement
Please note: this role requires an Enhanced DBS check (including the Children’s and Adults’ Barred List) and may include additional vetting in line with client requirements.
Terms
This is a full-time position (42 hours per week) possibly requiring travel and occasional overnight stays as needed.
* Monday to Thursday 07:45hrs to 17:15hrs
* Friday 07:45hrs to 16:45hrs
