Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN)
Health Visitor at Chestnut Children’s Centre, Exeter – 30 hours per week.
Job Summary
We are looking for a registered Health Visitor who is innovative, motivated, and enthusiastic, seeking to make a real difference improving outcomes for children and families in Devon.
Key Responsibilities
You will work within corporate teams and be rostered to work in a duty hub covering a defined geographical area. You’ll be supported by Team Leaders and various dedicated health professionals including Health Visitors, School Nurses and Community Health Workers. You will lead and manage changing and challenging workload priorities, working in close partnership with community, voluntary and statutory agencies; multi‑agency working and safeguarding children will be an integral part of your role. You will work alongside local midwifery services to support the Better Births agenda and will be part of an innovative model of health visiting that influences local and national agendas.
Qualifications
* I‑Level NMC registration.
* Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Degree – Health Visitor / School Nurse.
Desirable Qualifications
* Masters level qualification.
Employment Terms
* Band 6 – £39,959 to £48,117 a year (pro rata).
* Permanent contract, part‑time flexible working.
* Required: Active driver’s licence and access to a car.
