Overview
This is a part‑time role (15 hours a week) for an NHS SPoA Senior Clinical Advisor at Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Hub, St Leonard's, Dorset. The role involves providing high‑quality, person‑centred care while managing a caseload of patients referred to the SPoA team via phone and email from a range of care settings.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high‑quality person‑centred approach to care delivery, consistently considering patients’ safety, privacy and dignity.
* Deliver specialist care, interventions, assessments and treatments for patients on your caseload.
* Make timely referrals to appropriate teams within the wider Dorset HealthCare system.
* Provide specialist advice to other professionals on patient management and care.
* Devise specialist programmes of care for other professionals to deliver and ensure they are implemented appropriately.
* Plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.
* Provide supervision, mentorship, training and clinical support to students and trained practitioners.
* Actively promote and contribute to a performance culture for the SPoA Team and Integrated Urgent Care service.
Requirements
* Successful completion of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (cost covered by the Trust).
* Applicants who are eligible for the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.
* Applicants requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are not eligible for this position.
