The position is a Technical Maintenance Manager, managing Ibis London Wembley As our next Maintenance Manager, you will…
1. Have a good understanding of building maintenance.
2. Manage maintenance projects and work in accordance with hotel’s quality requirements, ensuring all basic upkeep and repair tasks are carried out.
3. Have responsibility for preventative maintenance work and carrying out regular safety and maintenance inspections across the hotel(s) to create a pleasant and safe environment for all colleagues, guests and visitors.
4. Manage and supervise team members in their day to day tasks, providing instructions and support, if needed.
5. Supervise contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
6. Attend and actively participate in Head of Department meetings.
7. Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, reduce equipment failure room downtime
8. Manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
9. Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the hotels under their responsibilities
10. Be the lead of the Health & Safety Committee for the site.
Qualifications
YOU HAVE...
11. Proven experience as maintenance manager or similar role
12. Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
13. Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulation
14. Excellent planning and leadership abilities
15. Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
