Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Retail Development Manager to join our Retail Sales Team, covering a geographical area within the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to grow and develop their territory as our Retail brands expand. The patch will cover Essex, Hertfordshire and London, North of the River Thames.
As this is a field based role, you\'ll receive a car allowance along with a company fuel card. More details will be provided at interview stage.

Responsibilities
* Support our existing Londis retailers in identifying growth opportunities.
* Assist retailers in creating and developing their business plans whilst providing support on implementation.
* Maintain important retailer relationships and guide retailers on how to maximise the effectiveness of our Budgens brand.
* Identify and pursue new business growth in the region through recruitment of competitor stores and identifying new store opportunities for existing retailers.
Requirements
* Previous experience of working within the food retail and wholesale sector, with a focus on the local area and an understanding of the social and economic factors affecting the area.
* Experience in a commercial environment with developing business improvement plans and direct experience of new business recruitment.
* Strong communication, customer focus, and sales negotiation skills. Proactive with an inventive approach to problem solving.
* Willingness to travel regularly to applicable sites. Please indicate any adjustments you may need to support your application.
