This is a fixed term position working hours per week, 38 weeks per year until 31st August 2026 (Monday to Friday - Down School is seeking to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and motivated playworker to establish and lead a new afterschool club for our children.

Your Role Will Include:
• Creating a fun and engaging activity programme
• Directing the work of the play assistant
• Supervising children during afterschool club.
• Encouraging healthy eating and positive social interaction.
• Ensuring the play spaces remain clean and safe.
• Promoting good behaviour and a caring atmosphere.
• Supporting children to complete their homework.
• Work alongside our admin team to promote the club, and coordinate bookings and billing.

• Reliability and punctuality.
• Full training will be provided including paediatric first aid.
