The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will inspire students to engage positively with physical education and healthy lifestyles. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high‑quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Fostering teamwork, resilience, fitness, and a positive mindset toward physical activity
* Delivering an inclusive curriculum that encourages participation and builds confidence
* Assessing and tracking pupil progress to support both physical and personal development
* Contributing to the continued development of a dynamic PE curriculum
* Supporting or leading extra‑curricular sports clubs, fixtures, competitions, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will be:
* A qualified PE Teacher with QTS, or an ECT due to qualify
* Confident teaching PE across KS3 and KS4

Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
* Ability to teach PE confidently at KS3 and KS4
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
