Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum Location: Prime Central London – Marylebone, Notting Hill & Chelsea To apply, or for more information, please send your CV to scott@redsector.co.uk The Opportunity Red Sector Recruitment is working with a highly regarded, independent, multi-branch veterinary group to recruit an ambitious Veterinary Surgeon for one of their exceptional, state-of-the-art clinics in affluent Central London. Salary & Benefits Salary up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience 5.6 weeks’ annual leave (inclusive of public holidays) Pension contribution RCVS membership (pro-rata clawback applies) VDS or equivalent professional indemnity cover (pro-rata clawback applies) £1,000 CPD allowance plus 3 days paid CPD leave (post-probation) Staff discounts for own pets (up to 3 pets) Private medical insurance, life assurance and critical illness cover following probation The Practice Our client is an independent, clinically led veterinary group operating across multiple Central London sites. The business is supported by an experienced leadership team and offers vets genuine autonomy, influence and support. The model is deliberately designed to allow clients to spend less on routine basics and more on preventative care, diagnostics and treatments that genuinely improve longevity and quality of life. Services include: High-quality primary care Advanced diagnostics and imaging Dentistry and soft tissue surgery Regenerative medicine and cutting-edge therapies Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy Home visits Clinics are beautifully designed, modern and fully equipped with advanced diagnostic, surgical and laboratory facilities, allowing vets to practise medicine properly and with confidence. Client education is central to the ethos. Vets are encouraged to clearly explain options, support informed decision-making and build long-term relationships within the local community. The Team Each clinic is staffed by multiple experienced vets and a strong nursing team, carefully selected for their clinical competence, professionalism and collaborative approach. This is a supportive, high-calibre environment where colleagues actively share knowledge, mentor one another and contribute to the continued development of the practice. The Ideal Candidate This role will suit a vet who is ambitious, entrepreneurial and open-minded. You will be: A proactive self-starter who takes ownership Comfortable with change and innovation Open to new ways of working Happy collaborating with experienced non-clinical managers Solutions-focused, professional and constructive Interested in helping grow the clinic and local client base Engaged in marketing and community outreach This is not a purely clock-in / clock-out role, but an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a progressive veterinary business. Clinical Experience Strong first-opinion consulting skills Confident with dentistry and soft tissue surgery Desire to develop further surgical and clinical skills Interest in pursuing certificates or further qualifications A clear clinical interest to develop over the next 2–3 years (e.g. dentistry, ophthalmology, laparoscopy, neurology, oncology, geriatric care, etc.) Orthopaedics or internal medicine experience beneficial but not essential Hours & Rota Clinic hours: 08:00 – 18:00, Monday to Sunday 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts 1 in 3 weekends To apply, or for more information, please send your CV to scott@redsector.co.uk
