Night Concierge 204 provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16-17yrs who are Looked After Children in Wisbech. We are seeking individuals who are motivated, committed and creative, who feel confident and assured when working with young people and who can respond effectively to opportunities and challenging situations. All our services aim to provide consistent, committed emotional and practical support to young people, in a welcoming and homely environment. About you You will be responsible for the safety, security and well-being of young people between 21.00 – 8.00am. You will be expected to Lone Work, and manage the immediate support needs, sometimes providing crisis intervention and guidance. You will be expected to work closely with partner organisations to manage missing persons, unauthorised absences and safeguarding concerns. Your role will consist of ensuring the health and safety of the building, welfare checks, cleaning duties, encouraging a night time routine & embedding boundaries and rules for the project. You will play a key part in the documentation of the handovers and recording of any incidences or accidents. You must be ICT competent and able to communicate effectively. It is essential that you have a non-judgmental, calm and supportive approach. You will be expected to work Waking Nights, 11hr shifts, 4 On - 4 Off pattern of rota.
