Start Date: September 2025
An Exciting Opportunity in a Supportive School Community
A highly regarded primary school in the heart of Tuebrook is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to undertake a part-time PPA role, alongside delivering targeted small-group intervention teaching. This position is set to commence in September 2025 and offers an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming and inclusive school environment.
The Role
Working three days per week – Tuesday to Thursday – the successful candidate will provide PPA cover across five year groups: Years 1 to 5. Additionally, you will lead focused intervention sessions for a small group of Year 5 pupils, supporting the development of their mathematical skills and addressing specific learning gaps. This varied and rewarding role plays a valued part in the school’s wider provision.
About the School
This school enjoys an excellent reputation within the local community for its nurturing ethos, strong leadership, and collaborative staff culture. Staff turnover is notably low, and the leadership team, headed by a well-respected Headteacher, is known for being approachable and highly supportive.
The vacancy has arisen due to the relocation of the current postholder and may become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Behaviour throughout the school is consistently good, supported by a clear and effective behaviour policy. Nevertheless, strong classroom management skills will be essential to sustain the calm, purposeful atmosphere that underpins learning.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT (Early Career Teacher) seeking a flexible, part-time position within a well-resourced and community-driven school.
