Training Description
Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative standard.
This will be a blended delivery, a mixture of Microsoft Teams and face-to-face sessions. All training will take place on site and within your working hours.

The apprenticeship involves the day-to-day maintenance and repair of various properties, from routine maintenance to emergency repairs, using a wide range of trade skills.
You will work alongside other maintenance staff and skilled trades to complete jobs. This apprenticeship offers valuable experience across multiple areas and a great learning opportunity.
* Identify risks and hazards and work according to Health & Safety regulations
* Complete maintenance and repairs based on job sheets or specifications
* Use appropriate hand or power tools
* Dispose of waste safely
* Perform minor carpentry and joinery repairs
* Paint and decorate surfaces
* Carry out minor plastering repairs
* Handle plumbing and drainage repairs, identify faults
* Use materials for wall and floor tiling
* Replenish consumables in washrooms and staff rooms
* Support the site manager to ensure the site and resources are safe and secure
* Assist with general porterage duties, including moving furniture and equipment
* Report security risks to the Site Manager
* Perform other tasks as assigned and undergo relevant training
* Maintain vehicles and fleet
* Assist with community visits

Working Week
Monday to Friday, between 8am/9am to 4pm/5pm.
