Job Summary

Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment.
* Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols.
* Monitor food quality during preparation and service, making adjustments as necessary.
Skills
* Proven experience in supervising a kitchen team and managing food production processes.
* Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
* Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations within the hospitality industry.
