Business Support Administrator £12.60p/hr PAYE 37 per week Onsite Portsmouth 12 Months Inside IR35 This is a position for an experienced administrator with a strong understanding of departmental systems, processes, and procedures. The successful candidate will undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out a range of administrative and clerical duties within the department - Process documents and information from various sources - Investigate discrepancies and shortages relating to products, services, documentation, or stock - Collate and extract data to produce routine reports, schedules, summaries, and letters - Liaise with customers and suppliers to clarify information, arrange appointments, deliveries, or place orders - Verify calculations, allocate costs, and ensure documents are complete and properly authorised - Maintain and update filing systems for easy retrieval of information Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Knowledge: - Previous experience in a clerical or administrative support role - Familiar with business support functions and departmental routines - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Skills: - Good understanding of departmental processes and the wider team function - Strong problem-solving skills - High attention to detail and accuracy - Confident in using Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) Morson is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
