We have been delivering Skills Bootcamps, funded by the Department for Education (DfE), since April 2023. Our Programme Coordinators are essential to the success of the programme. Working directly with our delivery partners as an account manager, this role demands excellent relationship skills, attention to detail, and proven project management experience. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with DfE guidance, collaborate with providers and partners to manage the programme effectively, and maintain monitoring systems to track learner progress, milestones, and impact.

Pay Band: Band 6 - £32,766
Reports to: Skills Bootcamp Programme Manager
Location: Hybrid working with an office base at MyWorkSpot, Maidenhead, with regular attendance expected.
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week. Part-time or flexible working will be considered.

Main purpose:
The Skills Bootcamp Programme Coordinator will play a key role in delivering the Skills Bootcamp contract in Berkshire, focusing on contract management, performance monitoring, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Delivery
* Act as Account Manager for delivery partners, ensuring timely and accurate data submissions and evidence uploads.
* Ensure compliance with DfE guidance and match delivery to plans and requirements.
* Contribute to project tracking and reporting, explaining anomalies and referencing documentation.
* Implement evaluation strategies to assess impact on residents, businesses, and skills shortages.
* Work with Data Analysts to analyze and report data effectively.
* Assist in preparing for Operations Team meetings and produce progress reports with recommendations.
Project / Contract Management
* Maintain partner quality files and ensure audit readiness.
* Work with partners to establish eligibility, onboarding, and meet DfE requirements.
* Identify and escalate contractual or performance issues.
* Monitor marketing efforts to promote Skills Bootcamps.
Relationship Building
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and avoid silo working.
Person Specification
Education: Project management qualification or significant experience; GCSEs A-C/9-4 in Maths and English.
Experience: Proven project delivery, account management, managing contracts and budgets, engaging with partners, preferably in DfE-funded projects, and knowledge of Berkshire skills landscape.
Skills: Knowledge of DfE Skills Policy, effective communication, digital skills including MS Office and social media management, self-motivation, and teamwork.
