B Purpose of Role Manage group financial Management Information (“MI”) and group financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Providing technical reporting skills to the Group Finance Team. Ensuring consolidation of group entities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Ensuring completion of group statutory reports. Key Tasks Management Information and Statutory reporting. All management, statistical and statutory information/reporting for Brigade Holdings Limited and Brigade Electronics Group PLC within agreed timeframe. All consolidated management and statutory information/reporting.This includes elimination of intercompany transactions, accounting for goodwill, producing consolidated cashflow and accounting for any acquisitions and/or disposals. Maintain and advise on group level metrics to support business objectives. Maintain group chart of accounts, mapping rules, and consolidation journals, ensuring consistency and control. Ensure FRS 102 disclosure compliance across the consolidated financial statements. Lead on system consolidation project. Co-ordinate and liaise with Group auditors (PKF). Consistency, appropriateness and improvement of the management accounting formats/KPIs across the Brigade group of companies Providing technical guidance, support and mentoring to the management accountants in the Finance department. Assist with management and co-ordination of the annual budget process. Maintaining (using input from across the department) the financial Procedures Manual (and its linkage to the QMS requirements). Maintaining KPIs to monitor levels of performance. Providing the data for the bank quarterly reports. Person Specification Qualified- preferable ACA/ACCA or equivalent Experience in management and statutory reporting. Experienced in consolidations and group accounts. Business Central and Excel knowledge Articulate in describing financial matters Able to understand and explain complex systems procedures, thereby working with the IT department Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction. Decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations. Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively. Attention to detail in planning, execution, and follow-through.
