Role and Employment
Employment type: Part-time
Role overview: Your purpose will be to engage with members to ensure they receive a world-class member experience on every visit to JD Gyms. This includes upholding high standards of cleanliness, gym floor interaction, leading gym inductions, and teaching engaging group exercise classes. You will be employed by JD Gyms on a part-time basis (12 hours a week) completing 3 x 4-hour shifts as a Fitness Coach, with a monthly salary. Separately, outside of your employed hours, you will rent monthly and run your self-employed Personal Training business from the gym in which you are based, gaining access to leads from current and new members. We also have an internal PT Business Support team to help you grow your PT business.
Responsibilities
* Place member experience at the heart of every action by engaging with members on the gym floor.
* Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
* Deliver engaging group exercise classes.
* Deliver engaging and informative member inductions.
* Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
* Conduct club standards checks and ensure results are recorded accurately per JD Gyms procedures.
* Provide ad hoc support to members as required.
* Maintain club cleanliness to the highest level as set by the Gym Management and Operations team.
* Maintain excellent brand standards, ensuring the club is safe and compliant with health and safety action points.
* Monitor service delivery through performance and member feedback.
* Operate in a safe and legal manner at all times while working for JD Gyms.
* Consider energy, environmental issues and waste management in daily work.
* Analyze and present key data to support new ideas and proposed developments.
