Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Engage with new and existing clients to understand their businesses, challenges, and future goals. Conduct in-depth consultations to ascertain their IT needs and align our services accordingly. Maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction. Recommendations and Consultation: Utilise your technical knowledge and expertise to recommend suitable IT services that align with the client's business objectives. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to address their challenges through our IT solutions. Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify leads based on client interest and alignment with our service offerings. Nurture and build relationships, understanding when a lead is primed for passing over to our sales partners. Required Knowledge Areas: Telecommunications: Understanding of mobile telephony, business telephony, and connectivity solutions (leased lines, business broadband, etc.). Professional Services: Knowledge in discovery, design, consultation, and migration services, particularly in SaaS models. Networks: Proficiency in provisioning, access technology, LAN management, hardware procurement, and Cloud UC. Cloud & Data Centre: Familiarity with On-Prem, Hybrid, and Cloud solutions, network management, and Microsoft CSP. Managed Services: Understanding of service desk support, monitoring, alerting, patching, colocation, cloud backup, and business recovery. Security: Risk awareness, risk mitigation, Cyber Essentials, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning. Experience & Qualifications: Proven track record in IT sales or consultancy, engaging with clients to understand their needs. Technical knowledge across various IT services, especially in the specified areas. Excellent communication skills. Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to clients.
