About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Solicitor to join a respected practice with a strong regional presence and loyal client base. As the appointed Planning Solicitor you will be providing advice on complex planning matters as well as managing and developing client relationships across a diverse portfolio. You will also be expected to contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the planning team.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced Planning Solicitor currently operating at Partner or senior level, with a proven track record of handling complex planning matters. You will be confident working autonomously while also contributing to the strategic direction of the firm, with the ability to influence key decisions and support long‑term growth. Strong client relationship skills are essential, including the ability to develop and maintain a loyal client base, identify business development opportunities, and represent the firm with professionalism and authority. You will also demonstrate a collaborative approach to team leadership, mentoring junior colleagues, and supporting the broader department in achieving its objectives. A long‑term perspective and interest in playing a central role in the growth of a respected regional practice are crucial.
