Roofing Estimator – Flat & Pitched Roofs

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator to join a well-established contractor in Barnet, specialising in both flat and pitched roofing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in roofing who is confident pricing works from enquiry through to submission.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for flat and pitched roofing projects.
* Analyse tender documentation and project requirements.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
* Assess labour, material, and time requirements to produce costings.
* Work closely with the contracts team to ensure smooth handover from estimating to delivery.
* Visit sites to carry out surveys and assessments as needed.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an estimator within a
roofing company or roofing contractor
.
* Strong technical knowledge of both flat and pitched roofing systems.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
