To support Bolton Council’s Commissioning Team approach to project management, business planning and performance management leading to better outcomes for local people.
Responsibilities
* Provide advice, support, and guidance on the process of project management, business and strategic planning with Council and partner staff, including on adult social care reforms.
* Provide advice, support, and guidance on the use of project and performance management methodologies within the department and partners.
Qualifications
* Well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with colleagues and partners to deliver adult social care commissioning outcomes.
* Strong understanding of project management, performance management and business planning principles.
* Ability to think strategically and apply practical solutions to complex challenges with knowledge of national, regional and local policy impacting health and care.
* Relevant degree/professional qualification or equivalent experience, with evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
* Hybrid role: expectation of being physically present in Council offices for three days each week.
* Designated customer facing role under fluency duty requiring specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.
