As our new Teacher of English, you will:
Responsibilities
* Design & deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3-5 that spark a love of language and literature;
* Guide exam preparation through engaging revision sessions, formative assessments and constructive feedback;
* Track and celebrate progress, tailoring strategies to help every student flourish;
* Collaborate across the department, co-creating schemes of work, sharing resources and championing best practice;
* Support students' personal growth as a tutor, fostering well‑being, confidence and a sense of belonging;
* Have the highest standards of professionalism, and seek to transform the lives of others as a direct result of your work;
* Place learning and progress at the heart of your daily life and act always with an equitable approach to school improvement;
Qualifications
* A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum with the ability to teach up to A-Level;
* Excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills;
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development;
* A team player who builds positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues;
* Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people;
* Strong interpersonal and data management skills.
