About the Role As Academy Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our Learning Academy. You’ll independently manage and support a range of development programmes, coordinate events, maintain accurate records, and ensure the smooth operation of our learning management systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the professional growth of our workforce and help shape the future of children’s services in Birmingham. you will be able to - Coordinate and oversee learning programmes, workshops, and training sessions. Provide high-quality administrative support to internal and external stakeholders. Manage team diaries, shared inboxes, and digital platforms. Support programme evaluation and reporting. Lead on learner coordination and ensure compliance with governing bodies. Use digital tools to streamline training delivery and tracking. Organise and document meetings, events, and sensitive communications. Assist with financial administration and equipment management. This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham so you must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship. About you: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in office administration. Strong ICT skills, including LMS and digital learning tools. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in customer service and team collaboration. Analytical mindset and attention to detail. Certificate in keyboarding and intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Experience in local government, children’s services, or learning environments. Background in coordinating learning and development programmes.
