4th Battalion The Princess of Wales�s Royal Regiment (4PWRR) is looking for a motivated and driven individual to join the Quartermasters (QM) Department in the role of Storekeeper (which includes some driving requirements).

The Storekeeper position is an essential role based within the QM Department, responsible for the management and control of stores and equipment across the unit.
Job description
We are looking for someone that has strong customer service skills along with basic digital literacy. They will demonstrate the ability to react quickly and positively to change and will understand the importance of following manual handling regulations.
A great teammate, the successful candidate will be able to work closely with their civilian and military colleagues, as well as managing their own time effectively.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Demand, record receipts and issues of stores, assets and equipment using Defence systems, policies and processes and remain up to date with system use, policy and processes.
1. Physical handling, packing and unpacking of stores, assets and equipment.
2. Movement of stores, assets and equipment (including by driving vehicles between geographical locations if recruited with a requirement to be a holder of a Cat B or Cat C1 UK Driving Licence).
3. Cleaning and upkeep of stores, assets, equipment and storage areas.
4. Carry out stock checks of stores, assets and equipment.
Person specification
We are looking for someone with previous experience of the management of logistical systems who understands that in the world of logistics they need to remain flexible to the changing demands and requirements. The role requires a great deal of self motivation, drive and the ability to work as a team.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working.� This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance.
