Purpose of Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the operation of our new Head Office in Watford, alongside two additional Eurovia offices in Thurrock and Horsham.
Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile, multi-site portfolio, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality working environment across all locations.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day facilities management of three office locations (Watford, Thurrock, Horsham)
* Manage and develop a small on-site team of 3 direct reports
* Oversee services including post room operations, cleaning, and specialist subcontractors
* Manage a facilities budget of approximately £1 million, ensuring value for money and cost control
* Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
* Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all sites
Essential Qualifications/Skills
* Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or Building Manager within a corporate environment
* Strong experience managing in-house teams (e.g. post room, cleaning staff) and external contractors
* Demonstrable experience managing budgets (ideally £500k+)
* Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively
