Overview
HGV Driver - Class 2 Nightshift Temporary Position at Bullet Express. The role is temporary from September until December with potential to extend. Nights are Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with a 9pm start. Shifts are ten hours. Weekly pay is £615.28 plus a weekend allowance of £46.15.
Key Responsibilities
* Efficiently delivering palletised freight using tail lift and pallet truck.
* Work in a two-person team to handball goods (boxes) at the delivery point.
* Unloading trailers and building pallets with the team.
* Accurately complete and submit all work-related paperwork at the end of each shift.
* Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
* Report any non-conformities or near misses to the line manager promptly.
* Secure freight safely for transit.
* Ensure timely deliveries and maintain the integrity of goods during transit and delivery.
* Use industry-leading technology for route optimisation and proof of delivery capture.

Experience & Personal Qualities
* Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.
* Experience operating power pallet trucks.
* Experience with electronic delivery equipment.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Pride in maintaining and respecting the provided equipment.
* Strong ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
Licence/Certification
* Digital Tacho Card (Required)
* Appropriate Driving Licence (Required)
* Driver CPC (Required)
* Comprehensive knowledge of driver regulations (Required)
