About The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Buffet Department based in Bognor Regis.
Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 40. Your focus will be on guest satisfaction, resource planning, recruitment, and ensuring excellent service. You will monitor and develop continuous improvement plans, manage food costs through effective menu planning, and uphold food hygiene and safety standards.
You will be a role model, ensuring training and performance development for your team, and inspiring them to deliver a memorable guest experience. This role involves leading and developing a team in our main buffet restaurant serving guests with a half-board dining package.
About You
Ideal candidates will have experience at a similar level or be looking to step up. You should be hardworking, reliable, energetic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving. A Level 3 Food Safety qualification is required, along with confidence in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen. You will also manage margins, control costs, and ensure health, safety, and hygiene compliance.

Working hours are five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week, with no split shifts, finishing by 8 pm. The role includes a bonus scheme and offers a unique opportunity within a supportive kitchen environment.
