Job Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, making you the face of our brand for individuals concerned about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
Key Responsibilities
You may need to coordinate with emergency services on behalf of our customers, playing a vital role in protecting lives. Customers can be vulnerable, elderly, or simply seeking assistance. Your empathy and pride in caring for people and ensuring their safety in their homes are what define a Cadent team member.
This role is diverse: from installing, replacing, and maintaining gas meters for residential and commercial clients, to conducting high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves. No two days are the same.
Experience and Qualifications
We value excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Candidates must hold either a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification. A MET1 qualification is advantageous but not mandatory. Additionally, experience working within a gas environment, with a good understanding of gas appliances, testing, purging, and commissioning, is required.
