We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Secretary or Admin Assistant to join our client based in Redditch or Northfield. You’ll be supporting our solicitors and directors with a range of secretarial and administrative tasks, helping ensure our clients receive a smooth, professional service during sensitive and challenging times.
Monday-Friday £25-30k depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day secretarial support to fee earners
Prepare and type legal documents, letters, and court forms (audio and copy typing)
Maintain accurate and organised case files using our ALB case management system
Liaise with clients professionally by phone, email, and in person
Manage diaries, book appointments, and assist with client meetings
Handle incoming calls and messages promptly and accurately
Assist with general office tasks, including filing, scanning, and archiving
Cover reception or switchboard on a rota basis when needed About You
Previous secretary experience
Fast and accurate typing skills – ideally 60–70 words per minute
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach
Comfortable using case management systems and MS Office
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to support other departments when needed INDX
