Orthopaedic Clinical Lead - Chester Hospital
Full time, Permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience.

You must be registered with the appropriate governing body and possess the relevant qualifications and post‑registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics, including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner.
Responsibilities
* Conduct and organise the Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre, ensuring smooth running of the theatre lists and booking forms.
* Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department (Endoscopy, General, Orthopaedics, Gynae).
* Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement, and adherence to policies and procedures to enhance patient care and service delivery.
* Apply extensive knowledge for audits and equipment management.
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment.
* Engage in continuous growth and personal development opportunities, including Surgical First Assist training.
Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body.
* Relevant qualifications and post‑registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics.
* Experience as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner.
* Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
* Organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Knowledge of running a smooth and effective department and equipment management.
