You will accomplish security screening in accordance with the Air Mobility Command and Transportation Security Administration directives on potential or manifested travelers. You will provide a variety of information related to passenger travel, perform duties as a passenger service center agent, perform personnel and baggage screening services and Input data into a remote computer terminal to provide passenger information for the various agencies. Qualifications and Key skills: One year specialized experience as per the key skills listed below: • Knowledge of transportation regulations, procedures and operating instructions sufficient to assist, screen and process government travelers. • Knowledge of passenger service center protocol procedures, passenger check-in procedures and the ability to assess and arrange for any special passenger needs. • Knowledge of the operation of various communications systems sufficient to clearly communicate flight and passenger information. • Knowledge of available base and commercial facilities and services sufficient to direct travelers to their use. • Skill in dealing with recurring travel related problems courteously and effectively. • Skill in remote terminal keyboard entry and retrieval of a variety of passenger travel data. • Ability to properly prepare documents in accordance with established policies, the Joint Federal Travel Regulation and the Joint Travel Regulation. Conditions of employment 1. You will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules and regulations. This position may also be coded as mission essential. 2. You may be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft, and you may also be required to travel to the US or other country, in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training. 3. You will be required to complete a 6-month probationary period. 4. Start & end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with organization’s flexible working policies. Overtime may be required and you may be assigned other duties not included in this position description, but that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the incumbent. 5. You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 6. This position may also be coded as mission essential. 7.
