Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Locality Team based in Merton.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge and experience of working with a range of service users and be able to adapt to the needs of individuals, and a good understanding of strengths-based and person-centred approaches. You will have strong assessment skills, written and verbal, and excellent communication with service users and their families.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:
* Experience working with older adults and/or adults experiencing the impact of physical, cognitive, or learning disabilities.
* Experience of working in community-based/locality-based adult social worker teams.
* You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your assigned cases, intervening with legal and procedural authority, including making safeguarding personal principles to protect vulnerable people at risk of abuse or neglect.
* You will need to have experience of undertaking Care Act assessments, support planning, Mental Capacity Assessments, and making best interests decisions.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
