Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
* Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard of hygiene
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
* Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
* Assist with organising storage areas and waste disposal
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning schedules or specific requirements
Skills
* Basic proficiency in English for effective communication with colleagues and clients
* Strong organisational skills to manage cleaning tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and respond to client needs professionally
* Customer service orientation with a friendly approach towards clients and visitors
* Driving licence is desirable for travel between multiple sites but not mandatory
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
* Must full UK driving license
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
