My client seeks a Hotel Financial Controller to manage the finances of this single site, branded hotel in the centre of Leeds. The role requires someone who is commercially minded and has strong Hotel P&L experience.
As Hotel Financial Controller you will oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the hotel.
You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining all financial documents monthly, quarterly and annually and cascade these down to the Management of the hotel.
Main responsibilities of this Hotel Financial Controller role include:
* Ensure that accounting records are kept which accurately reflect all the income and expenditure in accordance with Company policies.
* Provide information to management to assist future forecasting and budgeting.
* Oversee accounting and financial management requirements.
* Lead the monthly submission of management accounts.
* Highly involved with preparation of annual budget.
* System and procedural reviews and improvements.
* Review and analysis of monthly results.
Key Requirements:
* Expertise in Financial Statements, Accounting, and Financial Reporting
* Strong Finance and Analytical Skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Proficiency in financial software and tools
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Experience in the hospitality industry is a must
