Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Vacancy
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Carrying out Vehicle servicing, replacement of brakes, clutches, tyres, cambelts and general vehicle repairs.
· Carrying Vehicle diagnostic.
· MOT tester preferred, but not essential.
· Carrying out paper and digital management of customer, vehicle and parts information.
· Management of tracking and security of vehicle keys.
· Ensuring the workshop is clean and complies with Health & Safety Regulations.
· Liaising with Service Adviser to ensure that jobs are managed in a timely manner.
· Professional and presentable appearance with good communication skills.
· Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
· Reporting to the Master Technician.
· Working in a safe and tidy manner.
Qualifications:
· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and repair.
· MOT Tester preferred, but not essential as training will be given.
· F-Gas preferred, but not essential as training will be given.
About the Role:
The Benefits:
· Full time – Permanent position.
· Salary up to £40,000 pa depending on experience and qualifications.
· Hours of work 8.30am – 17.00pm Monday to Friday (No weekends).
· 40 Hours per week.
· Holidays – 25 days + Bank holidays.
· Additional day’s holiday on your birthday.
· Full clean UK Driving Licence required.
· Work wear supplied.
