Are you an experienced Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with a solid Electrical background? This is a home-based role with regular travel to customer sites in Hampshire and surrounding areas. You will service and attend breakdowns on hoists, indoor cranes and other lifting equipment.
Responsibilities
* Visit customer sites to service, repair and maintain machinery and equipment, including gantry cranes, hoists and other lifting equipment.
* Support the installation team with commissioning and adjustments.
* Travel to customer sites as required (approx. 60% of the week) and work at height when necessary.
Qualifications
* Qualified Electrical Engineer (apprentice trained or educated to ONC/HNC/HND level or equivalent).
* Experience in static maintenance or field service; ideally with C&G 2365 in Electrical Installation.
* Comfortable with 3-phase electrics and machinery such as hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, inverter-controlled equipment, pneumatics, etc.
* Experience with cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment is advantageous.
Location & Travel
* Location: Yateley, Hampshire (home-based).
* Commutable locations include Fleet, Bracknell, Camberley, Wokingham, Reading, Farnborough, Aldershot, Farnham, Frimley.
