Job Details:
* Permanent, Full Time Position
* Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
* Salary: £39,458 - £45,515
Day-to-day role of an English Lecturer:
* Deliver engaging and effective English lessons as part of our curriculum, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning is maintained.
* Contribute to the achievement of the college’s Strategic Plan, including the integration of digital skills, personal and professional development, and leading initiatives like low carbon future developments.
* Work closely with employers and businesses to set the skills agenda and ensure the delivery of high-quality T levels with outstanding business engagement.
* Support the expansion of higher-level provision and actively participate in the recruitment and marketing objectives of the department.
* Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest teaching practices and methodologies.
Requirements for a English Lecturer:
* Minimum of 3 years’ relevant subject experience
* Degree or equivalent vocationally relevant qualification.
* Teaching qualification DTLLS or equivalent
* Relevant subject qualification to level 3
