SEN Teaching Assistant – CirencesterWe are currently seeking a dedicated andpassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a weing and supportive school in Cirencester.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
2. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans
3. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
4. Encourage independence and confidence within the classroom
5. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
6. Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or transferable experience)
7. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
8. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
9. A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
10. Relevant qualifications ( CACHE, Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential
